  
Home | The Final EventThe final event will take place on November 8 - 11 at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva. The winning teams from the 23 European countries participating in Life in the Universe will take part an unforgettable experience. There will be booths available for the participants from each country from which they can describe their project to the judges and the other participants. There will be a series of talks, given by Europe's leading experts and also discussion circles to allow the prize winners to interact with the experts. The event will close with a specially produced live webcast featuring the work of the participants and a review of current understanding on the possibilities on other life forms existing elsewhere in the universe. The two best projects will win a trip either to the ESA launch site in Kourou or to visit the ESO telescopes in Paranal in Chile.
